Francesco Totti is considering performing a U-turn and making himself available to the Italy national team again. The Roma captain brought an end to his Azzurri career in July 2006 shortly after helping his country win the World Cup in Germany. Former Italy coach Roberto Donadoni attempted to lure Totti out of retirement for Euro 2008 but was unsuccessful. However, Totti has now opened the door to the possibility.Legendary Azzurri goalkeeper, Dino Zoff and Totti's wife have supported Francesco return to the national team. So far during the Seria A season, Totti suffered a month long, knee injury but returned on Sunday where he scored a hat trick, 3-1 against Bari. This brings him to 9 goals in 8 games making him tied with Di Natale for most goals so far this season
